Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, December 12, 2016, the Committee commenced its study of the Oceans Act’s marine protected areas.

Philippe Morel made a statement and, with Jeff MacDonald, Robert Elliott, Annette Daley and Alejandro DeMaio-Sukic, answered questions.

At 10:15 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:18 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $39,600.00, for the study of the Oceans Act’s Marine Protected Areas, be adopted.

At 10:37 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
