Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of Indigenous women in the federal justice and correctional systems.

Jennifer Metcalfe, by videoconference from Vancouver, British Columbia, and Rajwant Mangat made statements and answered questions.

At 11:59 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:03 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Stephanie Weasel Child, by videoconference from Calgary, Alberta, and Lois Frank made statements and answered questions.

Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

At 12:50 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
