It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the system of shelters and transition houses serving women and children affected by violence against women and intimate partner violence, the press release and the work plan prepared by the analysts be adopted; and that the deadline for submissions of briefs be Friday, November 9, 2018.
It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of barriers facing women in politics, the deadline for the recommendations submitted by the parties be Wednesday, November 21, 2018.
It was agreed, — That the Committee proceed to sit in public.

It was agreed, — That the Chair send a letter to the Chair of the Standing Committee on Finance requesting that the Committee’s report entitled “Women's Economic Security: Securing the Future of Canada's Economy” be distributed to members of the Standing Committee on Finance and that the Standing Committee on Finance consider the report as part of its study of pre-budget consultations in advance of the 2019 budget; and that a copy of the report be appended to the letter.
At 4:44 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
