At 4:47 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:53 p.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the clerk be permitted to distribute copies of Bill Fairbairn's speaking notes in English only.

Bill Fairbairn and Ian Thomson made statements and answered questions.

At 5:52 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
