Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, — That the background document prepared by the Library of Parliament on the study of the Situation in Eastern Europe and Central Asia 25 Years after the End of the Cold War for witnesses be approved.
It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $ 25, 500.00, for the study of The Situation in Eastern Europe and Central Asia 25 Years after the End of the Cold War, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the list of witnesses proposed for the study on the Situation in Eastern Europe and Central Asia 25 Years after the End of the Cold War be approved and that the proposed list remains open until further notice.
It was agreed, — That the Committee undertake a study on the United States and Canadian Foreign Policy and that the work plan prepared by the Library of Parliament be approved.
It was agreed, — That the Minister of Foreign Affairs be invited to appear before the Committee as soon as possible to discuss her mandate letter and other related matters.
At 9:21 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
