Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, the Committee resumed its study on women, peace and security.

Valerie Percival and Yanar Mohammed made statements and answered questions.

At 4:41 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:47 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Fourth Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in:

Your Subcommittee met on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, to consider the business of the Committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:

1. That a draft budget for possible committee travel in September before the House reconvenes, to two countries in the Americas, either Colombia and Guatemala or Colombia and Peru, be prepared.

2. That a proposed budget in the amount of $6,900.00, for the study on the Current Human Rights Situation of the Rohingya in Myanmar of the Subcommittee on International Human Rights of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development, be agreed to.

At 5:30 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
