Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of Canada’s sovereignty in the Arctic.

David Barber, by videoconference from Winnipeg, Manitoba, made a statement and answered questions.

Abbie Tingstad and Stephanie Pezard made statements and answered questions.

At 4:38 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:42 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pertti Salolainen made a statement and, with Tom Packalén, Paavo Arhinmäki, Simon Elo, Stefan Wallin, Maarit Feldt-Ranta and Ilkka Kanerva, answered questions.

At 5:26 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
