Pursuant to Standing Order 81(4), the Committee commenced consideration of the and Main Estimates 2017-18: Vote 1 under Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency, Votes 1, 5 and 10 under Department of the Environment and Votes 1 and 5 under Parks Canada Agency, referred to the Committee on Thursday, February 23, 2017.

The Chair called Vote 1 under Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency.

The Minister made a statement and, with Jonathan Wilkinson, Ron Hallman, Stephen Lucas and Daniel Watson, answered questions.

At 5:00 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:07 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

At 5:25 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:26 p.m., the sitting resumed in public.
