The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $27,800, for the study of federal government policies and guidelines regarding medical inadmissibility of immigrants, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $15,050, for the study on the briefing on resettlement issues related to Yezidi women and girls, be adopted.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, November 2, 2016, the Committee resumed its study on immigration to Atlantic Canada (M-39).

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 11:38 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:40 a.m., the sitting resumed.

At 12:16 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:23 p.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Immigration to Atlantic Canada: Moving to the Future".

It was agreed, — That the Committee append to its report any dissenting or supplementary opinions provided that they are no more than ten (10) pages in length, in the same style and format as the report (Calibri, 12 point, left aligned); and that it is submitted electronically in both official languages to the Clerk of the Committee, not later than Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. (EST).

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

At 12:34 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
