Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of the Government of Canada's support for the international trade of small and medium-sized businesses.

Mark Agnew, Susanna Cluff-Clyburne, Corinne Pohlmann, Caroline Tompkins, Leigh Smout, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, Jack Mintz, by videoconference from Calgary, Alberta, Jonathon Azzopardi and Timothy Galbraith made statements and answered questions.

At 12:44 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:47 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s website to invite Canadians to submit briefs related to the study of the Government of Canada’s support for the international trade of small and medium-sized businesses, and that the deadline to submit those briefs to the Clerk be Friday, December 28, 2018.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $19,300, for the study of the Government of Canada's support for the international trade of small and medium-sized businesses, be adopted.

At 12:59 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
