Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study of the impact of tariffs on Canadian businesses, companies and workers.

Andrew Mindell, by videoconference from Burnaby, British Columbia, Colin Kirvan and Thomas Dodds made statements and, with Jim Kerr, by videoconference from Burnaby, British Columbia, and Terry Witzel, answered questions.

At 11:55 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:06 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Sean Dyke, Luke Harford and Dave Heath made statements and answered questions.

At 12:45 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:49 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee immediately undertake a study concerning how the government can connect small and medium sizes enterprises with trade opportunities, notably in view of the Comprehensive and Progressive Transpacific Partnership (CPTPP), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the emerging markets; that the Minister of Small Business and Export Promotion be invited to appear; and that the Committee report its findings to the House.

At 1:02 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
