Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of debt in the agriculture sector and its effects.

Marcel Groleau, Florence Bouchard-Santerre and Peggy Baillie made statements and answered questions.

At 12:16 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:20 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Heather Watson, Mervin Wiseman, by teleconference from Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Christie Young made statements and answered questions.

At 12:59 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
