It was agreed, — That the Third Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in:

Your Subcommittee met on October 6, 2016 to consider the business of the Committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:

That, in relation to the study of the Next Agricultural Policy Framework, the proposed budget in the amount of $40,412.80, for the western part of the Committee’s travel to Vancouver (overnight stay); Abbotsford, Calgary (overnight stay); Lethbridge and Saskatoon, with no public hearings at any stop, from November 14, 2016 to November 17, 2016, be adopted.

That, in relation to the study of the Next Agricultural Policy Framework, the proposed budget in the amount of $36,741.00, for the eastern part of the Committee’s travel to Toronto (overnight stay); Niagara Region; Guelph, Granby and Kentville, with no public hearings at any stop, and that the dates for travelling remain the same, from October 24, 2016 to October 27, 2016, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That Tuesday, October 18, 2016 be the last meeting to hear witnesses on the Study of Genetically modified Animals for Human Consumption.

It was agreed, — That officials from the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food be invited to appear before the Committee on Thursday, October 20, 2016 on the study of the Next Agricultural Policy Framework.

It was agreed, — That Members should submit their list of witnesses on the study of the Next Agricultural Policy Framework, to be invited to appear before the Committee either in person or by videoconference to the Clerk, as soon as possible, to enable him to prepare a budget to that effect.
