The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in a televised session at 11:00 a.m. this day, in Room C-110, 1 Wellington Street, the Chair, Gordon Brown, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Ray Boughen, Gordon Brown, Hon. Stéphane Dion, Rick Dykstra, Ted Falk, Irene Mathyssen, Pierre Nantel, Kennedy Stewart and John Weston.

 

Acting Members present: Bryan Hayes for Rick Dykstra and Mark Strahl for Jim Hillyer.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, December 5, 2013, the Committee resumed its review of the Canadian music industry.
 
The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the Analysts for a report.
 

It was agreed, — That the Analysts prepare a summary of witness testimonies to be distributed to Members no later than Tuesday, May 27, 2014.
