The Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates met in camera at 11:05 a.m. this day, in Room 228, La Promenade Building, the Vice-Chair, Peter Braid, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Dan Albas, Denis Blanchette, Kelly Block, Peter Braid, Hon. Ron Cannan, Linda Duncan, Jacques Gourde, Mathieu Ravignat and Bernard Trottier.

 

Acting Members present: Paul Calandra for Jay Aspin, Joyce Murray for Hon. John McCallum and Kennedy Stewart for Pat Martin.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Raphaelle Deraspe, Analyst; Lindsay McGlashan, Analyst.

 
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.
 

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding any previous decision, the meeting of Tuesday, May 21, 2013, shall be the opportunity to receive an update on any specific action taken to address problems and concerns related to the procurement of relocation services under the Integrated Relocation Program; and that the list of witnesses shall be the same as in the motion agreed to on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.

 

It was agreed, — That the clerk be authorized to release documentation concerning the Committee in relation to the access to information request received by the Treasury Board Secretariat regarding its appearance on Tuesday, February 26, 2013.

 

It was agreed, — That it be left to the clerk’s discretion to reschedule the appearance by officials of the Treasury Board Secretariat to brief the Committee on the new Expenditure Database prior to the summer recess.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(c)(iv) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, September 27, 2012, the Committee resumed its study of energy efficiency in government buildings, structures and public works.
 

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

 

At 12:06 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
