The Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics met at 3:31 p.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, the Hon. Shawn Murphy, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Hon. Carolyn Bennett, Kelly Block, Paul Calandra, Patricia Davidson, Hon. Wayne Easter, Hon. Shawn Murphy, Pierre Poilievre, Bill Siksay and Ève-Mary Thaï Thi Lac.

 

Acting Members present: Richard Nadeau for Carole Freeman and Joe Preston for Harold Albrecht.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Dara Lithwick, Analyst.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h)(vi) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, March 25, 2010, the Committee resumed its study on street imaging applications (Google, Canpages, etc.).
 

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h)(vi) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, the Committee commenced its study on possible reports on the Commissioners' annual reports.
 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h)(vi) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, April 1, 2010, the Committee resumed its study on open government.
 

At 4:24 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

 

At 4:24p.m., the Committee resumed sitting in public.

 

The Chair presented the letter received from Robert Walsh, Law Clerk and Parliamentary Counsel, dated Tuesday, November 2, 2010.

 

At 4:25 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
