The Order was read for the second reading and reference to the Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates of Bill C-306, An Act respecting the use of government contracts to promote economic development.

Ms. Guay (Rivière-du-Nord), seconded by Mr. Vincent (Shefford), moved, — That the Bill be now read a second time and referred to the Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates.

Debate arose thereon.
