We'll call the third meeting of the Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology to order. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss committee business, our future business.
Members, everyone should have a copy of the timetable. It's been handed out to all members.
Including today, we have eight meetings until the December break. What I thought we would do today is have all members of all parties put their ideas on the table for what they would like to see the committee study. Obviously it would be our preference to finish something, or finish one or possibly two things, by mid-December. We can have members put their ideas on the table.
Obviously the goal here is to find something by consensus that different parties share an interest in, or perhaps we could find two things that parties share an interest in. So let's have all members put their ideas on the table as to what they would like to see the committee do.
Members, before I go to Mr. Carrie, I want to ask whether you would like to go in camera for this discussion or whether you would like to stay on the record in discussing future business.
We're fine with in camera, Chair.
    In camera?
    Okay, let's go in camera.
    [Proceedings continue in camera]
