The Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics met at 3:33 p.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Paul Szabo, presiding. |
Members of the Committee present: Sukh Dhaliwal, Russ Hiebert, Carole Lavallée, Richard Nadeau, Glen Douglas Pearson, Paul Szabo, David Tilson and Dave Van Kesteren. |
Acting Members present: John Maloney for Hon. Charles Hubbard and Rick Norlock for Mike Wallace. |
In attendance: Library of Parliament: Nancy Holmes, Analyst. |
Witnesses: As an individual: David Flaherty, Professor Emeritus, University of Western Ontario. |
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on November 22, 2007, the Committee resumed its study of the Privacy Act Reform. |
David Flaherty made a statement and answered questions. |
At 5:25 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair. |
