The Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics met in camera at 3:31 p.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Paul Szabo, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Dean Del Mastro, Sukh Dhaliwal, Russ Hiebert, Hon. Charles Hubbard, Carole Lavallée, Pat Martin, Glen Douglas Pearson, Paul Szabo, Dave Van Kesteren and Mike Wallace.

 

Acting Members present: Pierre Poilievre for Mike Wallace and Jean-Yves Roy for Richard Nadeau.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Kristen Douglas, Analyst; Nancy Holmes, Analyst.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, November 22, 2007, the Committee resumed its study of the Mulroney Airbus Settlement.
 

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

 

It was agreed, — That the Chair be authorized to make such typographical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the Report.

 

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

 

It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted as the Committee's Fifth Report, and that the Chair present the said report to the House.

 

It was agreed, — That 350 copies of the report be printed in accordance with the policy established by the Board of Internal Economy in a tumble bilingual format.

 

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(1)(a), the Committee authorize the printing of any supplementary opinion as appendices to the report immediately following the signature of the Chair.

 

It was agreed, — That any supplementary opinion be limited to not more than five (5) pages in Arial 12 point font.

 

It was agreed, — That any supplementary opinion be received in both official languages and in an electronic format by the Clerk not later than noon, on April 2, 2008.

 

At 5:17 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
