Honourable members of the committee, I see a quorum.
We can now proceed to the election of the chair. I am now ready to receive motions to that effect.
    Mr. Norlock.
It has been moved by Mr. Norlock that Gord Brown be elected chair of the subcommittee.
    Are there further motions?
Is it the pleasure of the subcommittee to adopt the motion?
    (Motion agreed to)
I declare the motion carried and Gord Brown duly elected chair of the subcommittee.
Before inviting Mr. Brown to take the chair, if it pleases the subcommittee, we can proceed to the election of vice-chairs. There is nothing in the Standing Orders regarding the election of vice-chairs at subcommittees, but if it's the pleasure of the committee, we can proceed.
I would so move and I would nominate Tom Wappel.
Thank you, Dave. I decline, thanks.
    I'll nominate Roy Cullen.
It has been moved by Tom Wappel that Roy Cullen be elected as first vice-chair of the subcommittee.
