    Good morning. Honourable committee members, I see a quorum. The first point on the agenda is the election of a chair.
    Are there any motions to that effect?
    : I nominate Mr. Guy Lauzon.

    As indicated on the agenda, we will now proceed to the election of the two vice-chairs. The first vice-chair must be a member of the official opposition.

    Mr. D'Amours?
    I would like to nominate Mr. Pablo Rodriguez.
    Are there any other motions?

    The second vice-chair must be a member of another party.
    Ms. Brunelle.
    I nominate Mr. Yvon Godin.
    He is not here, but it is possible to nominate someone who is absent.

    I would now invite the new chairman to take the chair.
    We are going to suspend our proceedings for two minutes. The rest of the meeting will take place in camera, since we are going to discuss the committee's future business.
