The Standing Committee on Finance met at 3:34 p.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Vice-Chair, Massimo Pacetti, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Dean Del Mastro, Rick Dykstra, Hon. John McCallum, Hon. John McKay, Massimo Pacetti, Pierre A. Paquette, Hon. Robert Thibault, Mike Wallace and Judy Wasylycia-Leis.

 

Acting Members present: Patricia Davidson for Diane Ablonczy, Roger Gaudet for Thierry St-Cyr and Rick Norlock for Brian Pallister.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Thursday, December 7, 2006, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-37, An Act to amend the law governing financial institutions and to provide for related and consequential matters.
