The Subcommittee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met at 4:15 p.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, Tony Tirabassi, presiding.
Members of the Subcommittee present: Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral, Reed Elley, Nancy Karetak-Lindell, Wendy Lill, Tony Tirabassi.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Bill Young, Julie Cool, researchers.
Delegation: From the National Commission on Human Rights: Aleksi Asatashvili, Director General, International Relations. From the Employment Programs for Persons with Different Abilities, FEMSA: Zintia Almaguer Salazar, Coordinator. From the President's Committee on the Integration of People with Disabilities: Maria Eugenia Antunz Farrugia, Director. From the Department for the Integration of the Family: Beatriz Borges, Coordinator of technical and vocational evaluation and training. From the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Martha Brambila, Advisor; Jessica Banos, Advisor. From the Mexican Ministry of Finance: Eloy Gonzalez, Assistant to the executive secretary of Finance.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Subcommittee proceeded to meet with a delegation from Mexico.
At 5:25 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
