The Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates met in a televised session at 11:07 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Reg Alcock, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Reg Alcock, Carolyn Bennett, Roy Cullen, Ken Epp, Paul Forseth, Robert Lanctôt, Steve Mahoney, Judy Sgro, Paul Szabo and Tony Tirabassi.
In attendance: From the Library of parliament: Jack Stilborn, Analyst.
Witness: As an Individual: L. Denis Desautels, Executive Director, Centre on Governance and Executive-in-Residence, Faculty of Administration, University of Ottawa.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the committee resumed its study on New Public Management and ICTs (Information and Communications Technologies) (See Minutes of Proceedings of Tuesday, January 28, 2003).
At 11:09 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 11:10 a.m., the sitting resumed.
The witness made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 12:44 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
