The Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology met at 3:37 p.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Building, the Chair, Walt Lastewka, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Larry Bagnell, Paul Crête, Brian Fitzpatrick, Cheryl Gallant, Walt Lastewka, Brian Masse, Dan McTeague and James Rajotte.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Geoffrey P. Kieley and Dan Shaw, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From ARC Publications: John Chenier, Editor and Publisher. From Grainger and Associates: Brian Grainger. From the Government Ethics Coalition: Duff Conacher, Coordinator.
The Order of Reference dated Friday, October 25, 2002, being now read as follows:
ORDERED, -- That Bill C-15, An Act to amend the Lobbyists Registration Act be now read a second time and referred to the Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology.
Pursuant to its Order of Reference of Friday, October 25, 2002, the Committee proceeded to the study of Bill C-15, An Act to amend the Lobbyists Registration Act.
The witnesses made statement and answered questions.
At 5:22 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
