The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 4:00 p.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Vice-Chair, Peter Goldring, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Roy Bailey, Peter Goldring, Judi Longfield, John O'Reilly, Janko Perić, Louis Plamondon, Carmen Provenzano, Geoff Regan, Peter Stoffer, Bryon Wilfert, Bob Wood.
Associate Member present: Rob Anders.
Other Member present: Paul Szabo.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Michel Rossignol, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From the Department of National Defence: Margaret Purdy, Associate Deputy Minister; James Harlick, Official in charge of the Office of Critical Infrastructure, Protection and Emergency Preparedness.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of its study on the state of readiness of the Canadian Forces.
At 5:15 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
