The Standing Committee on Health met at 3:37 p.m. this day, in Room 701, La Promenade Building, the Chair, Bonnie Brown, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Bonnie Brown, Stan Dromisky, James Lunney, Hélène Scherrer, Judy Sgro, Yolande Thibeault, Judy Wasylycia-Leis.
Acting Members present: Preston Manning for Diane Ablonczy, Pauline Picard for Diane Bourgeois.
Associate Members present: Preston Manning, Pauline Picard.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Nancy Miller Chenier and Sonya Norris, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From Indiana State University: David Prentice, PhD, Professor of Life Sciences. Via videoconference from Indianapolis: From the Indiana University Centre for Bioethics: Eric M. The Committee resumed consideration of the draft legislation on Assisted Human Reproduction. (See Minutes of Proceedings dated Thursday, May 3, 2001, Meeting No. 13.)
