Pursuant to Standing Orders 68(2) and 69(1), on motion of Mr. Obhrai (Calgary East), seconded by Mrs. Ablonczy (Calgary -- Nose Hill), Bill C-468, An Act to amend the Statistics Act (ethnicity question), was introduced, read the first time, ordered to be printed and ordered for a second reading at the next sitting of the House.

The Order was read for the consideration of the Business of Supply.

Mrs. Ablonczy (Calgary -- Nose Hill), seconded by Mr. Epp (Elk Island), moved, -- That an Order of the House do issue for all departmental audit reports to be tabled within 15 days of their completion and permanently referred to the appropriate standing committees, that audit reports since January 1, 1999, be tabled within 15 days after the adoption of this motion, and that all audit reports requested under the Access to Information Act be tabled forthwith.

Mr. Elley (Nanaimo -- Cowichan), seconded by Mr. Mark (Dauphin -- Swan River), moved the following amendment, -- That the motion be amended by replacing the number ``15'' with the number ``30''.
