The Sub-Committee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met jointly with the Sub-Committee on Children and Youth at Risk of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities in a televised session at 3:36 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chairs, Carolyn Bennett and John Godfrey presiding.
Members of the Sub-Committee present: Carolyn Bennett, Nancy Karetak-Lindell, Wendy Lill.
Members of the Sub-Committee on Children and Youth at Risk present: Carolyn Bennett, Libby Davies, John Godfrey and Diane St-Jacques.
Acting Member present: Paul Crête for Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral.
Other Members present: Peter Adams, Bonnie Brown, Larry McCormick, Rey Pagtakhan, Judy Sgro.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), a study on the future of children and youth in Canada with particular reference to children with Disabilities
Dawn Walker, Sherri Torjman, Connie Laurin-Bowie, Sharon Hope Irwin, Marta Morgan and David Fransen made an opening statement and, with the other participants, proceeded to a round table discussion.
At 5:36 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
