The Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met in a televised session at 11:16 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Peter Adams, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Peter Adams, Bonnie Brown, Paul Crête, Larry McCormick, Rey Pagtakhan, Judy Sgro, Maurice Vellacott and Bryon Wilfert.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Kevin Kerr; Julie Mackenzie and Bill Young, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From the As Individual: Dr. Gillian Kerr, Consultant. From the University of Toronto: Audrey Cheung, Director Research Grants, Research Services. From the Charity.ca: Susan Brekelmans, Charity Liaison Officer.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108 (2), study of HRDC Grants and Contributions.
The witnesses made opening statements and answered questions.
