The Standing Committee on Transport met at 3:36 p.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Ray Bonin, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Ray Bonin, Murray Calder, Bill Casey, Roy Cullen, Stan Dromisky, Claude Drouin, Michel Guimond, Ovid Jackson, Lee Morrison, Lou Sekora.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: John Christopher, Researcher.
Witnesses: From the Air Transport Association of Canada: Clifford J. Mackay, President and Chief Executive Officer; Geoffrey Elliot, Executive Vice-President, Policy and Strategic Planning.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed a study on the Competitiveness of Canada's Air Transportation System
Clifford J. MacKay made an opening statement and, with Geoffrey Elliot, answered questions.
At 5:30 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
