Thursday, March 11, 1999

The Sub-Committee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met at 3:37 p.m. this day, in Room 701, La Promenade Building, the Chair, Carolyn Bennett, presiding.

Member(s) of the Sub-Committee present: Carolyn Bennett, Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral, Deborah Grey, Wendy Lill and The Hon. Andy Scott.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Sandra Harder and Bill Young, Research Officers.

Witness(es):From the The Canadian Alliance for Animal-Assisted Services: Joanne Moss, President and Founder; John Hatton and Lyn Taylor.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(c) study of matters relating to the proposing, promoting, monitoring and assessing of initiatives aimed at the integration and equality of disabled persons in all sectors of Canadian Society

Joanne Moss made a statement and with the other witness answered questions.

At 4:06 p.m., the Acting Chair, Deborah Grey assumed the Chair.

At 5:00 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
