Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, — That the next study that the committee undertakes be the study of the distribution of federal government funding among Canada's universities, and that the following study that the committee undertakes be the study of the science and research needs in Canada’s Arctic in relation to climate change.
ORDERED, — That the clerk of the committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a draft budget respecting the committee's proposed travel to Vancouver and Penticton, British Columbia, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and Sudbury and Chalk River, Ontario, in relation to its study of big science in Canada, for consideration by the committee.
It was agreed, — That the committee invite the Chief Science Advisor of Canada to provide a briefing.
At 11:31 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
