Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(i) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, September 26, 2022, the committee resumed its study of international moonshot programs.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 7:34 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 7:41 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $5,550, for the study of international moonshot programs, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the committee’s travel to Vancouver and Penticton, British Columbia, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and Sudbury and Chalk River, Ontario, during winter 2023, the committee be accompanied by the clerk, two analysts, and the necessary interpretation staff.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(i) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee resumed its study of small modular nuclear reactors.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 9:20 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
