Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the subcommittee on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, the subcommittee resumed its study of the current situation in Haiti.

Frédéric Boisrond, Andréanne Martel and Michèle Asselin made statements and answered questions.

At 10:06 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:12 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to subcommittee business.

It was agreed, — That the members submit their amendments to the statement of the subcommittee in relation to the study of the current situation in Tigray by Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

It was agreed, — That the analysts be instructed to prepare a draft report in relation to the study of the current situation in Haiti.

It was agreed, — That the work plan in relation to the study of the rights and freedoms of women, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 9,900.00, for the study of the current situation in Haiti, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 13,275.00, for the study of the rights and freedoms of women, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 6,150.00, for the study of the recognition of international human rights champions, be adopted.

At 10:47 a.m., the subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
