Pursuant to the order of reference of Tuesday, October 17, 2023, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C-49, An Act to amend the Canada—Newfoundland and Labrador Atlantic Accord Implementation Act and the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts.

The Minister made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the study of Canada's clean energy plans in the context of North American energy transformation, drafting instructions be submitted to the clerk no later than Friday, February 16, 2024.
