Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, February 3, 2022, the committee commenced consideration of Report 10, Securing Personal Protective Equipment and Medical Devices, of the 2021 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada referred to the committee on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

Andrew Hayes, Dr. Stephen Lucas, Paul Thompson and Dr. Harpreet S. Kochhar made statements and, with Cindy Evans, answered questions.

At 12:29 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:35 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,300, for the study of Report 5, Lessons Learned from Canada's Record on Climate Change, by the Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,150, for the study of Report of the Joint Auditors to the Board of Directors of the Public Service Pension Investment Board—Special Examination Report—2021, of the 2021 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,750, for the study of Report 12, Protecting Canada’s Food System, of the 2021 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,225, for the study of Report 13, Health and Safety of Agricultural Temporary Foreign Workers in Canada During the COVID-19 Pandemic, of the 2021 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,450, for the study of Report 14, Regional Relief and Recovery Fund, of the 2021 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,150, for the study of Report 15, Enforcement of Quarantine and COVID-19 Testing Orders—Public Health Agency of Canada, of the 2021 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, be adopted.

At 1:03 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
