Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee resumed its study of air defence procurement projects.

Chris Pogue and Youri Cormier made statements and answered questions.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee resumed its study of outsourcing of contracts.

Liam McCarthy and Jennifer Carr made statements and, with Michele Girash, Eve Henshaw and Howie West, answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

Motion

Anthony Housefather moved, — That the committee have a planning meeting on Thursday, October 27, 2022, and not invite witnesses to appear.

At 1:33 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 1:38 p.m., the sitting resumed.

By unanimous consent, the motion was withdrawn.

It was agreed, — That the committee have a planning meeting on Thursday, October 27, 2022, and not invite witnesses to appear; that the Chair be authorized to invite witnesses to appear for the meeting on Monday, October 31, 2022 and that representatives of government departments be invited to appear on Thursday, November 3, 2022, as part of the committee’s study of the ArriveCAN application.

At 1:42 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
