Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the National Shipbuilding Strategy.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 2:48 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 2:51 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $6,050, for the study of air defence procurement projects, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $7,450, for the study of the National Shipbuilding Strategy, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the committee undertake a study of the Main Estimates, 2022-2023, and of the Departmental Plans, Main Estimates 2022-2023, and invite the President of the Treasury Board and the Minister of Public Services and Procurement to appear.

It was agreed, — That, when departmental officials are appearing before the committee to discuss any estimates, the Chief Financial Officer of the department also be invited to appear.

At 3:03 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
