Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, the committee resumed its review of the Protection of Communities and Exploited Persons Act.

Jenn Clamen, Jenny Duffy and Sophia Ciavarella made statements and, with Sarah Smith, answered questions.

At 2:03 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 2:04 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Alexandra Stevenson (Ford), Suzanne Jay, Amber Lindstrom and Alison Clancey made statements and answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $5,525, for the study of government's obligations to victims of crime, be adopted.

At 3:09 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
