Pursuant to the order of reference of Thursday, March 31, 2022, the committee commenced consideration of Bill C-5, An Act to amend the Criminal Code and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

The Minister made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 2:07 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 2:09 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $13,750, for the study of Bill C-5, An Act to amend the Criminal Code and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, be adopted.

At 2:58 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
