Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee resumed its study of barriers to Indigenous economic development.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 5:06 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:11 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $4,725, for the study of the effects of the housing shortage on Indigenous Peoples across Canada, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the Minister of Indigenous Services, the Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and the Minister of Northern Affairs to provide testimony on the Supplementary Estimates (C), 2021-22 and the Main Estimates 2022-23 on Friday, March 25, 2022.

It was agreed, — That the workplan for the study of the effects of the housing shortage on Indigenous Peoples across Canada be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the consideration of a draft report on barriers to Indigenous economic development take place on Friday, April 1, 2022.

At 5:54 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
