Pursuant to Standing Order 81(4), the committee resumed consideration of the Main Estimates 2024-25: Vote 1 under Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, Votes 1 and 5 under Canadian Accessibility Standards Development Organization, Vote 1 under Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety, and Votes 1 and 5 under Department of Employment and Social Development, referred to the committee on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Minister Fraser made a statement and answered questions.

By unanimous consent, the Chair called Vote 1 of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, Votes 1 and 5 of the Canadian Accessibility Standards Development Organization, Vote 1 of the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety, and Votes 1 and 5 of the Department of Employment and Social Development, less the respective amounts granted in the Interim Supply.

Vote 1 of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, Votes 1 and 5 of the Canadian Accessibility Standards Development Organization, Vote 1 of the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety, and Votes 1 and 5 of the Department of Employment and Social Development, less the respective amounts granted in the Interim Supply, carried.

ORDERED, — That the Chair report Vote 1 of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, Votes 1 and 5 of the Canadian Accessibility Standards Development Organization, Vote 1 of the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety, and Votes 1 and 5 of the Department of Employment and Social Development, less the respective amounts granted in the Interim Supply, to the House.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the deadline for the submission of briefs in relation to the study of Federal Housing Investments be Friday, June 21, 2024.

It was agreed, — That committee members submit to the clerk their prioritized list of witnesses for the study of the Financialization of Housing no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

It was agreed, — That committee members submit to the clerk details for any committee travel budget for the period of July to December 2024 no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

At 10:22 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
