The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 500.00, for the meeting requested pursuant to Standing Order 106(4) to discuss a request to undertake a study of a Public Health Agency of Canada contract, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 5,750.00, for the study of the government’s advanced purchase agreement for vaccines with Medicago, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 57,000.00, for the study of women's health, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, the committee resumed its study of oversight of medical devices (breast implants).

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Strengthening the Oversight of Breast Implants".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 4 p.m. on Monday, November 27, 2023.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the analysts present to the committee a list of studies undertaken by other committees in the last two years that may be relevant to the committee’s study of women’s health.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, the committee resumed its study of children's health.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 12:57 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
