Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, January 20, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the North Atlantic right whale.

Gerard Chidley, Jules Haché and Philippe Cormier made statements and answered questions.

At 4:55 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:00 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the North Atlantic right whale, the members of the committee submit to the clerk their recommendations no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the North Atlantic right whale, the deadline for the submission of briefs be 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022.

At 5:27 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
