Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, April 20, 2023, the committee commenced its study of subject matter of Bill C-47, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 28, 2023.

The witnesses answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

Motion

Adam Chambers moved, — That the committee call on the government to extend the tax filing deadlines for the 2022 tax year to 25 business days after labour dispute is resolved between PSAC and the Treasury Board Secretariat.

Debate arose thereon.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $19,000, for the study of subject matter of Bill C‑47, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 28, 2023, be adopted.
