Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee resumed its study of intimate partner and domestic violence in Canada.

Angela Marie MacDougall, Farrah Khan and Kripa Sekhar made statements and answered questions.

At 4:55 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:59 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Maude Pontel, Ninu Kang, Jamie Taras and Josie Nepinak made statements and, with Sabrina Lemeltier, answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That any confidential document provided to the clerk in relation to its study on intimate partner and domestic violence in Canada, be retained by the clerk until the end of the First Session of the 44th Parliament, and thereafter be destroyed.

At 5:55 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
