Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee resumed its study of mental health of young women and girls.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of human trafficking of women, girls and gender diverse people, the proposed budget in the amount of $73,687.80, for the committee’s travel to Vancouver (British Columbia), Toronto (Ontario), Brampton (Ontario), Mississauga (Ontario), Sault Ste. Marie (Ontario), Halifax (Nova Scotia), and Dartmouth (Nova Scotia), during spring 2023, be adopted and submitted to the Subcommittee on Committee Budgets of the Liaison Committee.

It was agreed, — That the committee meet with the Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier of New South Wales for the second hour of the meeting on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 81(4) and the order of reference of Wednesday, February 15, 2023, the committee consider the Main Estimates 2023-24; and that the Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth and department officials be invited to appear before the committee.

At 1:01 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
