Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, the committee resumed its study of Canada's diplomatic capacity.

Allan Rock, Louise Blais, Stéphane Roussel, Guy Saint-Jacques and Pamela Isfeld made statements and answered questions.

At 6:02 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 6:07 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 25,000 for the Subcommittee on International Human Rights, for the study of international disability-inclusive education, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 24,750, for the study of Canada's diplomatic capacity, be adopted.

At 6:32 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
